Hydrant Flushing - An Overview of the How & Why (1.0 TCH)

If this is your first time taking an MWWA online course please watch this VIDEO

Routine distribution system flushing and hydrant flow tests are critical components of a distribution system operation and maintenance program.  While flushing (done to improve/address water quality issues) and flow testing (done to determine the hydraulic integrity) have different goals, they are often done simultaneously in the field.

This is a great class for new operators to help them understand the importance of hydrant flushing and how to do it correctly.

This course is approved for 1.0 Training Contact Hours (1.0 TCH)
