Cross connection contamination events are believed to have caused more waterborne disease outbreaks in the United States than any other reported factor.  Understanding what a cross connection is and the methods to prevent them from occurring are the foundations for a successful cross connection control program.

Instructors

Daniel Laprade

Dan Laprade has a BS in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and has been working in the drinking water field for over 35 years.  He has been an instructor for 20 years and is a Massachusetts Registered Professional Engineer.  He holds both a Massachusetts Grade 2 Water Treatment and Grade 3 Water Distribution license.
